About Us

Pete grew up on a lifestyle block in Helensville, learning many practical skills from his builder father. A genuine jack-of-all-trades, Pete has worked in the agricultural sector since 2018. Before that, he worked offshore in the oil and gas industry.

Amanda immigrated to New Zealand in 1977 from Britain and fondly remembers life growing up in a village near Bristol. Amanda currently works in the tertiary sector in events, while also supporting APB Lifestyle with administrative and marketing tasks. She has a background in community engagement, administration, marketing and hospitality.

Pete and Amanda purchased a 15-acre lifestyle property in the hills of Waipu in 2020. APB Lifestyle Property Maintenance was born out of a desire to partner with busy lifestyle enthusiasts, retirees, property developers, and small-scale farmers who sometimes lack the time, skills, or equipment to maintain their properties without assistance.

We offer a range of Tractor-based Agricultural Services for lifestyle blocks, smallholdings, and property developments, servicing areas from Mangawhai to Whangārei and beyond.

Amanda and Pete would love to partner with you to make your lifestyle property, subdivision or small holding the best it can be.

The APB philosophy is work smarter, not harder!

Health and Safety are essential to us. Pete has extensive training in Agricultural Safety. Including a certificate of competency with Ag Drive Training (a tractor course highlighting Health and Safety standards and workplace procedures), and is currently completing a Farm Wise Grow Safe (Agric Chemicals) certificate, approved training for the safe use of agrichemicals.
